Cobham Clinic
The Cobham Clinic was a remodelling and refurbishment project of what used to be a Jewellers shop on the Main Cobham High Street.
Respecting the existing site boundary of the original building, the project sought a dialogue with the style and form of the existing structure; by developing a space that united the original and existing elements with contemporary design features.
The project involved the design and formation of exclusive treatment rooms which offer non-surgical, regenerative treatments and procedures with medical-grade, clinically proven and industry-leading equipment for exclusive MediSpa and Wellness experiences.
The new Cobham Clinic layout
The project adopted the existing spatial configuration concept in order to adapt this to the latest Wellness and Spa trends. The most important intervention involved the formation of the new reception and waiting area. From here begins the corridor leading to the various Treatment Rooms.
Each treatment room was perceived as an independent space differing from the rest in the treatments offered and ambience created to suit these. Each space offers a different experience created with careful lighting design and finishes.
The new Cobham Clinic Treatment rooms
In all the Treatments Rooms, the theme of light played an important aspect of the design. For the best possible experience and ambience, ceilings have been crafted to incorporate discreet and hidden LED light fittings offering a homogeneous light diffusion. Throughout the renovated Cobham Clinic, there is a fusion of neutral colours and lighting further enhanced from the careful and successful blending of natural daylight and artificial lighting suitable for each space.
'I can’t recommend David highly enough, after his work on the plans for the layout of my Medispa. David laid out several options and spent a great deal of time working with me to ensure the layout would work well & making the most of space. His plans included small details that I would never have thought of myself and ensured the build ran smoothly. I would not hesitate to use DHC's services again in the future.'
