The existing lean-to conservatory and external toilet were raised to enable the new ground floor extension to be constructed. The extension allowed the internal ground floor footprint to be remodelled, creating a large open plan kitchen dining area, bringing the outside toilet in and offering a compact utility space as well within the space. The new set of large bi-folding doors floods the living area with light and brings the outside space in.
